Search tips for free-text search
- The search is not case-sensitive, so it doesn’t matter whether you use small or capital letters.
- If entering one-word search phrases: The search engine will usually search the exact phrase you enter.
Example: The Spanish brand name ‘Aspirina’ would not be found in a search for Aspirin. - You can search for part of a word by entering an Asterisk * after your search phrase.
Example: The names ‘Aspirina’ as well as ‘Aspirin’ would be found in a search for Aspir*. - If you enter more than one word as search phrase, the search engine will search for results that contain all of your exact search words in any order (combinations with an Asterisk search are possible, see example above).
- To find an exact combination of words, enter your search term in double quotation marks.
Example: “Bayer HealthCare” or “Multiple Sclerosis”
